2027: the 2k nature walk
ALL COURSES START & END JUST NORTH OF THE BORDEN LIBRARY
The 2K Nature Walk is an out and back on the beautiful Fox River Trail. This section of the trail is mostly shaded.
A walk is returning for the 2026 Fox Trot. For this first year, it will be 2k and not timed, but a free T-shirt, post-race beverages, and a bib to signify your participation will be included.
The cost is $20 per walker OR $15 each for four or more team. As with any distance, you will have an opportunity to further contribute to one of the 10 non-profits of your choice, see the Beneficiaries page.

A book is available for purchase regarding the Valley Fox Trot that was founded in 1978. The publication includes many photos, details, and interviews over the years of running 10-miles in Elgin.
