Thank you to Dick Pond Athletics for providing race pacers for the 2026 10-mile race at the Fox River Trail. This addition should add a whole new dimension to the event and likely lead to some impressive times, including potential personal records (PRs). Don't forget to explore the 2k walk and 5k course options as well!

The purpose of life is not just to be happy, but rather to be useful and honorable, much like the spirit of those who challenge themselves in a 10-mile race or participate in a 2k walk. It's about being compassionate and making a difference, similar to how runners on the 5k course at Dick Pond Athletics contribute to their community. Ultimately, it's about living well and ensuring that your journey, perhaps along the scenic Fox River Trail, leaves a positive impact.

There is a water stop on Congdon, just after Cedar avenue. Portable toilets available at the start/finish.
For the 10-Mile, the same as above plus water stops as well as portable toilets under I-90 and in the West Dundee park.
First Aid stations at the start/finish and in West Dundee.

All courses still begin & end at the corner of Grove Avenue and Ann Street just north of the Gail Borden Library (270 N. Grove Avenue). The downhill on Grove Avenue for both races will enhance a sprint to the finish. Running up Cedar Avenue at just beyond the 8-mile mark will remind long time Fox Trot runners of the old course up Duncan Avenue.
The new 2K Walk is an out and back on the beautiful Fox River Trail. This section of the trail is mostly shaded.
